Ojei Princess Chichi

Chichi Ojei is a Nigerian politician born in Delta, South-South Nigeria, in 1978.

She completed her education both within Nigeria and abroad, including attendance at the American International School in Lagos, Nigeria, Institut Le Rosay in Rolle, Switzerland, and later earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northeastern University in the USA. She also holds an MBA from Regent’s Business School in London.

Before entering politics, Ojei worked as a finance specialist and served as executive director of Nuel Ojei Holdings.

She joined the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) ahead of the 2023 elections, where she was endorsed as its presidential candidate on August 14, 2022. Despite expressing optimism about her campaign in a male-dominated political landscape, her party ultimately dropped her support and aligned with Atiku Abubakar’s candidacy from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
