Ojei Princess Chichi

Chichi Ojei is a Nigerian politician born in Delta State, South-South Nigeria, in 1978.

Her education spans both domestic and international institutions, including the American International School of Lagos, Institut Le Rosay in Switzerland, Northeastern University in the USA for a bachelor's degree in business administration, and an MBA from Regent’s Business School London.

Before entering politics, she worked as a finance specialist and served as executive director of Nuel Ojei Holdings.

In 2022, she joined the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and was endorsed as its presidential candidate on August 14. Despite her optimism about securing the election in a traditionally male-dominated race, her party later dropped her support, backing Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party instead.

Her campaign reflected ambition for leadership, though her vision of becoming president in 2023 did not materialize.
