Biography
Christopher Irene Imumolen, born on 5 September 1983, is an Addo of Abaji, an educationist, university professor, serial entrepreneur, and Nigerian politician.
He founded Joint Professional Training and Support International Limited (JPTS), a training institution that has certified over 30,000 professionals, including former Senator Dino Melaye. He later established the UNIC Foundation, aimed at supporting four million Nigerian businesses annually through grants and scholarships for widows and students.
An indigene of Esan West in Ekpoma, Edo State, Imumolen began his career as a Plant Engineer with BOC Gases Nigeria Plc in 2005. Over the years, he held roles such as President of the Onshore Offshore Oil and Gas Professional Association and Senior Technical Adviser on oil and gas matters for Akwa-Ibom state government.
He also served as a Technical Safety Consultant to NAPECO Kuwait and is the founder of Global Wealth System, an international business network with over 450,000 members. Imumolen holds two Ph.D.s (in Engineering Research and Educational Management) and three master’s degrees alongside his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
His educational background spans institutions like the University of Benin, University of Lagos, International Institute of Management and Technology, and Global Wealth University. He was installed as Addo of Abaji by His Royal Highness Adamu Baba Yunusa on 11 December 2021, focusing on community development and scholarships for indigenes.
In February 2022, he launched a two-billion-naira education trust fund benefiting entertainers like Musicians Small Doctor and B-Red. His programs have included supporting over 6,000 Nigerians with financial grants for businesses and freeing over 200 inmates in 2019.
On 30 January 2021, Imumolen formally joined the Accord Party and announced his candidacy for Nigeria’s presidency. At 39 years old, he was the youngest presidential candidate in the 2023 elections.
