Mojisola Lasbat Meranda was born on 16 August 1980 and has been a politician in Lagos State since at least June 2015.

She has held significant legislative roles, including serving as deputy speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly from June 2023 until January 2025.

Following the impeachment of Mudashiru Obasa over allegations of misconduct in January 2025, she became Speaker briefly before resigning by March 2025.

Since then, she has resumed her position as deputy speaker and continues to represent Apapa I constituency in the assembly.
