Biography
Utazi Godfrey Chukwuka, born on 16 October 1961 in Nkpologu, Uzo Uwani, is a Nigerian politician.
He serves as the senator representing Enugu North senatorial district in the Nigerian Senate, having been first elected on 9 June 2015. He is part of the 8th and 9th Senate terms.
His educational background includes a School Leaving Certificate from Community Primary School Opanda-Nimbo (1976) and a West African School Certificate (WASC) from St. Vincent Secondary School, Agbogugu (1982).
He earned a bachelorβs degree in Government and Politics Education from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (1989). To further his career, he pursued law, obtaining a bachelorβs degree from the same university and later passed the Nigerian Law School, being called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004.
Chukwuka has been involved in advocacy, notably sponsoring a motion aimed at sustained immunization efforts to eradicate the polio virus, both in Nigeria and across Africa.
