Ombugaku Mattew Avre is a Nigerian political candidate who ran for the governorship election in Nassarawa State in 2023 under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Born circa 1964, he completed his education at SUN AKUYA PRIMARY SCHOOL GOV'T SECONDARY SCHOOL, WAMBA, PLATEAU SCHOOL OF ACCOUNTANT. His running mate in the election was Baba Dauda Sarki.
