Ombugaku Mattew Avre is a Nigerian political candidate who ran for the governorship election in Nassarawa State in 2023 under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Born on January 1, 1964, he completed his education at SUN AKUYA PRIMARY SCHOOL GOV'T SECONDARY SCHOOL, WAMBA, PLATEAU SCHOOL OF ACCOUNTANT. His running mate in the election was Baba Dauda Sarki.
Despite participating in the 2023 governorship race, Ombugaku Mattew Avre did not succeed in securing the position.
