Born circa 1964, he completed his education at SUN AKUYA PRIMARY SCHOOL GOV'T SECONDARY SCHOOL, WAMBA, PLATEAU SCHOOL OF ACCOUNTANT. His running mate in the election was Baba Dauda Sarki.
