Political Career
Biography
Malik Ado-Ibrahim, born on 22 December 1960, is a Nigerian businessman and politician.
At the age of 38 in 1999, he became the first Black team co-owner of Arrows F1, holding 70% share ownership in what was a small but struggling team. Though his involvement led to sponsorship for the T-Minus brand, the venture ultimately failed financially, and Ibrahim did not pay for his shares.
The Arrows team collapsed in 2002 after failing to generate revenue, with many attributing its downfall partly to Ibrahim’s financial mismanagement or lack of profitability from the T-Minus sponsorship.
In 2020, he married Adama Indimi, daughter of Nigerian billionaire and philanthropist Mohammed Indimi.
Ibrahim ran for president in Nigeria’s 2023 election as a candidate of the Young Progressive Party (YPP). Though he secured over 66 votes to become the party’s presidential flag bearer, he lost the February 25, 2023, election with 60,600 votes.
He currently serves as CEO and Chairman of Nigus Enfinity, a technology-driven solutions firm incorporated in Nigeria in May 2001.
