Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku is a Nigerian politician who currently serves as Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, representing Owan West Constituency in the APC.

Before assuming this role, he served as Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the 7th Edo State House of Assembly under Marcus Onobun. He previously held legislative representation for Owan West from 2007 to 2011.

Born on November 12, 1972 in Edo State, Agbebaku attended primary and secondary education within the state. He earned a BSc in Economics and Statistics from the University of Benin.

His political career includes election as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly in 2007, where he served until 2011. In 2023, he was nominated for speakership by Natasha Osawaru (PDP) and seconded by Addeh Isibor (PDP), becoming Speaker unopposed.

Following his election as Speaker in June 2023, Agbebaku joined the APC in May 2025 after a previous affiliation with the PDP. His tenure has focused on inclusive leadership, legislative oversight, and cooperation between the Assembly and executive branches for Edo State’s development.
