Biography
Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, born on 14 November 1994, is a Nigerian politician affiliated with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Her lineage traces back to Philomena, daughter of Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, Esama of the Kingdom of Benin in Edo State. She studied at Igbinedion University in Okada and Parsons School of Design in New York, earning a law degree and a master’s in fashion design.
In 2023, she contested under PDP for Egor Constituency in Edo State House of Assembly elections. Controversy arose before the election, where two candidates faced scrutiny on 18 March 2023; she was declared the winner by INEC on 16 April through a supplementary vote.
Following her victory, she nominated Blessing Agbebaku for Speaker’s office in June 2023. By June 2023, she became Deputy Leader of Edo State House of Assembly.
Her political prominence grew partly due to her public relationship with Nigerian singer Innocent Ujah Idibia (known as 2Baba), who proposed to her on 13 February 2025 after announcing his separation from Annie.
