Jack Major M is a Nigerian politician who contested the 2023 State Houses of Assembly Elections as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Rivers.
Biography
Major Jack is a Riverian engineer who has served as a politician in Rivers State, representing Akuku-Toru I constituency.
He was first elected to the Rivers State House of Assembly during the rerun election on 19 March 2016 with 11,624 votes, defeating All Progressives Congress’ candidate.
As an incumbent Deputy Chief Whip in the assembly, he has held leadership roles within the PDP in the state.
His legislative career began after being elected to Akuku-Toru I Constituency during the 2016 re-run election, as listed by INEC for the PDP.
He served as Deputy Whip of the House during the 8th Rivers State House of Assembly (2015–2019) and continued his role in subsequent legislative terms.
