His campaign included Dikeh Tonto Wigo Charity as his running mate. Born circa 1986, he holds a First School Leaving Certificate (SSCE/NECO) as his highest educational qualification.
Despite participating in the election, Ibraye Tonte did not secure the governorship position in Rivers State during the 2023 contest.
