Ibhamawu Jonathan, Aigbokhan is a Nigerian politician who contested the 2023 State Houses of Assembly Elections as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in Edo.
Biography
Jonathan Ibhamawu Aigbokhan, born on 10 July 1966, is a Nigerian politician affiliated with the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He serves as the majority leader of the Edo State House of Assembly and represents Esan West Constituency.
Raised in Ekpoma, within Edo State’s Esan West Local Government Area, he completed primary and secondary education there.
His tertiary education focused on accounting at Ambrose Alli University.
Aigbokhan entered politics as treasurer for the Esan West Local Government Council. He was recognized nationally with the 2016 award for Best Local Government Staff in Nigeria.
In 2023, he won Edo State House of Assembly elections under APC to represent Esan West Constituency.
He became majority leader of the Edo State House of Assembly on 7 April 2025.
