Biography

Abdu Umar Yandoma was elected Senator for the Katsina North (Daura/Ingawa) constituency of Katsina State, Nigeria, on the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) platform during the Nigerian Fourth Republic, taking office on 29 May 1999.

Following his Senate induction in June 1999, he was assigned to key committees, including Petroleum, Solid Minerals (as chairman), Transport, Niger Delta, Government Affairs, and Federal Capital Territory.

Born on 1 January 1963, he is a male with a First School Leaving Certificate (WAEC) qualification. Darma Muttaqha serves as his running mate in his current political campaign under the Nigerian National People’s Party (NNPP).
