Biography
Kpam Jimin Sokpo is a Nigerian politician from Benue State, born around 1979.
He previously represented the Buruku Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
His first election to office came in 2019 under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), where he secured 20,804 votes and won the seat after succeeding Emmanuel Yisa Orker-Jev.
Despite winning his initial term, his bid for a second mandate was unsuccessful. Following this outcome, he later defected to the Labour Party (LP).
He was succeeded in office by Agba Terkaa.
During his tenure, Sokpo faced an incident of assault in Gboko Local Government Area (LGA), Benue State, attributed to suspected military personnel.
