Nasiru Sani Zangon Daura is a Nigerian politician and senator representing Katsina North Senatorial District in the 10th Senate.
He was initially elected to the House of Representatives for Zango/Baure Federal Constituency in Katsina State on the APC ticket, where he held office since 2011.
His educational background includes a First School Leaving Certificate from Capital School, Kaduna, followed by secondary studies at Barewa College, Zaria and later Cambridge Centre, London, before attending Lindisfarne College Ruabon.
He obtained a bachelor's degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. His political career in the National Assembly spanned three terms: 7th (2011), 8th (2015), and 9th (2019) National Assemblies, where he served as chairman of the House Committee on Interior among other committee assignments.
In the February 2023 Nigerian Senate elections, Nasiru Zangon Daura won his bid to represent Katsina North Senatorial District, defeating incumbent Senator Ahmed Baba Kaita of PDP by securing 174,062 votes against 163,586.
