Oladiji Olamide Adesanmi

Olamide Adesanmi Oladiji, known as Landmark, is a Nigerian politician serving as Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly since June 2023.

He represents Ilaje Constituency 1 in Ondo East Local Government Area and belongs to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Born in the Toribo community of Ondo East Local Government, he attended St. Paul’s R.C.M Primary School and St. Joseph’s College before studying accountancy at Federal Polytechnic Unwanna and Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti.

He holds an OND in Accountancy, HND in Accounting, a PGD in Education from Olabisi Onabanjo University, and a diploma in theology from Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Oladiji has served as chairman of several institutions including Landmark Polytechnic, Itele Ayobo; Dynamic Landmark Group of Schools; Lamtex Oil and Gas; and Lamtex Hotels & Suites.

He entered politics in 2014 when he joined APC. His early political bids included losing the Ilaje Constituency seat in 2019 before winning the same constituency in 2023.

After his assembly election win, he was nominated for speakership by Temitope Akomolafe of Ifedore Constituency and seconded by Abiola Oladapo of Ondo West II.
