Adelaja Adeoye, known as Laja Adeoye, is a Lagos-based banker, oil and gas professional, entrepreneur, and philanthropist dedicated to transforming Lagos through the RESET LAGOS vision.

Born on May 2, 1981, he has deep community ties rooted in Ijebu culture across Lagos East (Ikorodu, Epe) and Awori lineage in Lagos West (Isolo), reflecting a lived understanding of Lagos’ diversity.

His professional journey includes leadership roles at United Bank for Africa and Bank PHB (now Keystone Bank), where he earned recognition as Mr. Keystone Bank for outstanding contributions to banking.

In the oil and gas sector, his work with PPMC (Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation) provided insights into Nigeria’s energy systems, shaping his policy focus on energy security and industrial growth.

A serial entrepreneur, Laja Adeoye founded Fendini Group—a real estate developer known for large-scale luxury projects—and led Adwood and Alphabetia in media strategy and innovation.

The founder of the Laja Adeoye Foundation (LAF), he supports education, youth empowerment, healthcare, and community welfare through scholarships, skills training, and health outreach programs across Lagos and Africa.

With over a decade in politics, he is an APM candidate for the 2027 Lagos State governorship election, advocating for accountable governance, public-private partnerships, and sectoral reforms like education, healthcare, and security.
