Jimoh Ibrahim, born on February 24, 1967, is a Nigerian politician, businessman, and philanthropist who serves as the ambassador of Nigeria to the United Nations.

He has held the position of senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District from 2023 until his present tenure. As chairman and CEO of Global Fleet Group, he oversees a diversified conglomerate with interests across West Africa.

His origins are rooted in Ondo State, southwestern Nigeria. Ibrahim initially pursued legal studies at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State, earning a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). He later earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the same institution.

He further advanced his education by attending Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, obtaining combined degrees in Master of Laws (LLM) and a degree in International Taxation. In 2022, he became the first individual to earn a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Cambridge.

His business ventures span multiple sectors including oil & gas distribution, hotels, airlines, banking, real estate, insurance, publishing, and investments. Key subsidiaries include Air Nigeria, NICON Insurance, NICON Luxury Hotel, Global Fleet Oil & Gas stations, and Energy Bank in Ghana among others.

Jimoh Ibrahim ran unsuccessfully for governor of Ondo State on the All Nigeria People's Party (ANPP) ticket in 2003. He is married to Mrs Modupe Jimoh Ibrahim and has four children. Additionally, he publishes the National Mirror Newspaper in Nigeria.

Reports from Sahara Reports indicated allegations of misconduct between 2013 and 2015. In November 2020, Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) froze his bank accounts and seized assets valued at approximately NGN69.4 billion due to unpaid debts.
