Biography
Olajide Ipinsagba Emmanuel was born on February 2, 1964 in Ikare-Akoko, Ondo State.
He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Surveying from Rufus Giwa Polytechnic.
His academic qualifications include two master’s degrees: Business Administration (Delta State University, Abraka) and Public Administration (Adekunle Ajasin University). He also earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Nasarawa State University.
Since 2007, he has worked in the public sector as Special Assistant on Industrialization to Ondo State Governor.
He was part of Ondo State Transition Committee (2017) and served on Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Governing Council between 2017–2018.
In June 2023, he won the Nigerian Senate election for Ondo North Senatorial District, replacing Robert Ajayi Boroffice by securing the highest votes in Ondo State.
He is currently a senator representing Ondo North on the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket and chairs the Senate Committee on Public Procurement. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream.
