Biography

Farah Dagogo was born in Port Harcourt.

He served as a lawmaker in the Rivers State House of Assembly, representing Degema Constituency.

With a background in Sociology, he previously worked as a MEND field commander before surrendering his weapons and accepting government amnesty on 8 August 2009.

In 2019, he was elected to the Nigerian National House of Representatives for the Degema/Bonny Federal Constituency under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

He held a chair position in the House committee on Education, focusing on diversifying Rivers State University’s subjects and addressing funding for education across the state.

His political career also included work on climate change and environmental issues in the Niger Delta.
