Emeka Martins Chinedu is a Nigerian politician representing Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Born on 2 February 1965, he has contested and won elections under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for a second term as a member of this constituency.
As of December 2024, he has sponsored four bills that passed their first reading in the National Assembly.
Currently serving as Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), his political career includes judicial affirmation of his electoral victory against multiple appeals.
In 2019, an Election Petitions Tribunal dismissed a petition by Nnanna Igbokwe from All Progressives Congress (APC) for lack of merit in the Ezinihitte Mbaise/Ahiazu Mbaise federal constituency elections.
A Lagos Appeal Court affirmed his victory on 7 September 2023, dismissing appeals from Darlington Amaechi (Labour Party) and Nnanna Igbokwe (APC), citing jurisdictional and merit-based grounds.
