Biography

Ayodeji Olamijuwonlo Alao is a Nigerian politician affiliated with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a member of the House of Representatives in the 10th National Assembly, representing the Ogbomoso North, South, and Orire Federal Constituency since June 2023. He was born into the family of Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala, a former governor of Oyo State, on September 9, 1984, in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Before entering politics, Olamijuwonlo held professional roles such as Chief Executive Officer at TDB Global Venture and Chairman of Parrot FM Radio Station. His political career began with his election as the Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government in Oyo State in 2018. His term was later suspended in 2019 over allegations of anti-party activities.

In the 2023 general elections, he was elected to represent Ogbomoso North, South, and Oriire Federal Constituency under the APC. He currently serves as the Chairman of the House Committee on Youth in Parliament. Ayodeji Olamijuwonlo Alao’s running mate is Okunlola David Oluwafemi.
