Agbodike Paschal A.

Paschal Arinzechukwu Agbodike, born on April 15, 1982, is a Nigerian politician from Ubahi village in Mbosi community of Ihiala Local Government Area, Anambra State.

He holds a PhD in Philosophy and has served as a Member of the House of Representatives for the Ihiala Federal Constituency since his election in 2023 on the APGA platform.

Agbodike succeeded IFeanyi Chudi Momah in representing Anambra State’s Ihiala constituency. He chairs the Committee on Hydrological Services/Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPPADEC) in the National Assembly.

Previously, he was a two-term member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, where he served as Deputy Majority Leader and Chairman Youths & Sports. He also held the position of Deputy Speaker during the 7th legislature.

He established the Mmirioma Education Foundation in November 2015 to provide scholarships for primary, secondary, and tertiary education across Nigeria.

In April 2025, he distributed materials like laptops, sewing machines, grinding equipment, educational supplies, buses for community security, and rice to over 2,000 constituents to foster self-reliance.

Agbodike extended scholarships to students of Ihiala origin at the Federal Cooperative College in Oji River, Enugu State, covering tuition and hostel fees. He also supported around 1,000 indigent students from primary through tertiary levels using federal budget provisions.

He was conferred with the traditional title Ugonwanne (prestigious brother of the community) by Mbosi town leaders in November 2015, recognizing his role and respect within Igbo culture.

In July 2024, his residence was set ablaze by suspected hoodlums in Anambra State, with no reported casualties.
