Olubunmi Ayodeji Adetumbi is a Nigerian politician and Senator representing Ekiti North in the 9th National Assembly under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He was elected on February 23, 2019, defeating the incumbent Senator Duro Faseyi by securing 60,689 votes compared to Faseyi’s 49,209 votes.
A former member of the Senate in the 7th Assembly (2011–2015), he was recognized as one of the best Senators of that term.
Born on August 22, 1955, he earned a BSc and MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan.
He has received awards, including the Senate Media Corps Awards for Legislative Intellectualism in 2014.
