Abdul Labaran Madari, known as Abdul Madari, is a lawmaker from Kano State in Nigeria.
Born in 1968 at Madarin Mata in Warawa Local Government Area of Kano State, he attended Kawo Cikin Gari Primary School and Government Secondary School in Garko.
He obtained his Grade II Certificate from Minjibir Teacherβs College and a diploma from the Federal College of Education, Kano.
Elected as a Member of the Kano State House of Assembly in 2007, he retained his seat for three consecutive elections (2011, 2015, 2019), serving his fourth term currently.
Madari previously held the position of Chief Whip from 2015 to 2019 before becoming Majority Leader in 2019. He was later unlawfully suspended by the Speaker and court-ordered reinstated.
After a speakerβs resignation in December 2020, he was re-elected as Majority Leader alongside Hamisu Chidari as Speaker.
