Zubairu Bashir is a Nigerian politician representing Birnin-Gwari/Giwa Federal Constituency in Kaduna State’s 10th National Assembly.
He has sponsored seven bills and moved several motions within the National Assembly, contributing to legislative work at the federal level.
During Governor Ahmad Muhammad Makarfi’s administration, he served as Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, overseeing state-level policy-making and legislative processes.
His election in 2023 secured him 41,023 votes under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Beyond politics, he holds the traditional title of Ciroman Birnin Gwari, signifying leadership within Kaduna Metropolis.
