Alhaji Salihu Abubakar Tanko Yakasai OFR is a Nigerian politician and elder statesman.
A self-described Marxist-Leninist and a founding member of the Northern Elements Progressive Union, he was a prominent figure in Nigeria's radical political circles in the 1950s and 1960s.
