Kabir Tukura Ibrahim was born on February 15, 1984, in Kaduna State but belongs to Kebbi State.
He began his education with a First School Leaving Certificate from the Federal Staff College, Sokoto in 1994, followed by a Senior Secondary Certificate from Federal Government College, Birnin Yauri in Kebbi State in 2000.
After secondary school, he pursued higher education at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language in 2005.
Following his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2006, he was retained by the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria due to his dedication before joining the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in October 2009. Later, from 2014 to 2016, he served as an official with the Nigerian Intelligence and Financial Crimes Unit.
His leadership abilities emerged early; during his final year at university, he was president of the Modern European Languages, Literary, and Linguistics Students Association.
His political career began in 2019 when he was elected to represent the Zuru/Fakai/Danko-Wasagu/Sakaba Federal Constituency in Kebbi Stateβs Federal House of Representatives. While in office, he chaired the Young Parliamentarian's Forum (YPF).
As a legislator, his work focuses on constituency development and national issues, including youth empowerment, women empowerment, and advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He advocates against financial crimes and opposes hate speech and social media bills.
In Kebbiβs Zuru area, he has improved infrastructure by rehabilitating roads like the Gadan Zaima-Zuru-Gamji Road. He has also provided solar street lights, repaired boreholes, installed motorized ones, and built classroom blocks in Matseri, Zodi, Ribah, and Sakaba.
His scholarship schemes include sponsoring JAMB registrations and higher education for deserving students through the Kabiru Tukura JAMB/University Scholarship Scheme. On his first 100 days, he distributed sanitary pads and school supplies to 4,000 girls celebrating the International Day of the Girl Child.
Healthcare-wise, he has sponsored medical trips and supported persons with disabilities by providing tricycles through the Joint National Association of Persons Living with Disabilities. His legislative efforts include bills like HB 1091 (Federal Medical Centre Zuru) and HB 777 (National Youth Development Commission Bill).
