Onyewuchi Ezenwa Francis is a Nigerian politician who contested the 2019 Senate Elections as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Imo.

Career

Biography

Onyewuchi Francis Ezenwa, born in 1968, is a senator representing Imo East senatorial district in the 10th National Assembly.

He previously held the position of a member of the Nigerian Federal House of Representatives, representing Owerri-Municipal/Owerri-North/West Federal Constituency in Imo State.

His political career includes successful bids for the Nigerian Senate, first as a Labour Party candidate in 2023 and previously as a PDP candidate in 2019.

He has received recognition, such as the NUJ legacy award, for his contributions to journalism and politics.
