Biography

Isaac Kyale Kwallu was born in 1974.

He is a Nigerian politician affiliated with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Currently, he serves as a member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Mikang/Qua’an-Pan/Shendam federal constituency in Plateau State within the 10th National Assembly.

Previously, Kwallu held the position of chairman for Qua’an-Pan Local Government Area under the All Progressive Congress (APC).

He faced impeachment by a legislative council within that local government area and was later suspended by the Plateau state House of Assembly. His reinstatement came after a decision by the Jos High Court.

In the 2023 general election, he won his seat in the Federal House of Representatives under PDP.

The election result is contested by Hon. John Dafaan from APC at an election petition tribunal.

The tribunal affirmed Kwallu’s election as duly elected, but a higher appeal court overturned this decision, favoring Dafaan.
