Bagos Dachung Musa is a Nigerian politician who contested the 2019 House of Representative Elections as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Plateau. They won with 117K votes (75.69%).
Biography
Dachung Musa Bagos is a Nigerian politician affiliated with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Plateau State.
He serves as a member of the Nigeria Federal House of Representatives, representing Jos South/Jos East federal constituency in Plateau State since 2019.
Born on June 4, 1977, he attended Ekan Primary School before completing tertiary education at the Jos Development Enterprise Commercial School with a Diploma in Secretariat Administration.
He furthered his studies at the University of Jos, obtaining a Diploma in Law, and later pursued theological training at the Jos ECWA Theological Seminary to expand his knowledge base.
To enhance educational infrastructure in his constituency, Bagos commissioned modern classrooms equipped with offices, storage spaces, and solar power for Gwandang LEA Primary School in Bukuru-Gyel of Jos South LGA, Plateau State.
He has also supported education by paying school fees for female students at Government Technical College Bukuru and distributing exercise books to students there.
Through the Dachung Musa Bagos Foundation, he has provided scholarships to 598 students from Government Secondary School Godong in Jos East LGA and Government Secondary School Chugwi in Jos South LGA.
