Biography

Aliyu Wakili Boya is a Nigerian politician and lawyer representing Fufore/Song constituency in Adamawa state as a member of the House of Representatives.

He previously served as chairman of Fufore Local Government and was also the chairman of All Local Governments Organisation of Nigeria (ALGON) in Adamawa state.

Born on 8 June 1978 in Malabu, Fufore, Boya earned his Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Maiduguri. He later trained at Abuja Law School to become a Barrister.

From 2011 to 2015, he acted as Senior Chief Legislative Aide for former Senator Bello Tukur of Adamawa Central.

He was elected as Executive Chairman of Fufore and concurrently appointed as the state chairman of ALGON during the same period.

In the 2023 Nigerian House of Representatives elections, Boya ran on the APC ticket for his constituency. He won by securing a margin of 4,632 votes over incumbent Mustafa Muhammed Saidu from PDP.

On April 1, 2018, he was appointed as Lamido derke’en (leader of youth) in Adamawa by Lamido Barkindo. Notable figures like Sanusi Lamido and Atiku Abubakar attended his turbaning ceremony.
