Biography

Akinremi Adewale Akinremi was a Nigerian politician aligned with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and represented Ibadan North in the House of Representatives from 2019 until his death.

He won the 2019 election as an APC candidate, defeating Ademola Omotoso of the PDP alongside other rivals, securing just over a third of the votes.

Renominated for the subsequent 2023 elections, he retained his seat by winning that contest too. His tenure ended with his sudden death on 10 July 2024 at age fifty-one.
