Biography

Adeyemi Raphael Adaramodu, known as Yemi Adaramodu, is a Nigerian politician serving as Senator for Ekiti South Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly under the APC.

He holds the traditional chieftaincy title of Oluomo of Ilawe-Ekiti and began his political career at age 29 as Chairman of Ekiti South West Local Government Area, focusing on grassroots development.

His tenure included roles as Chief of Staff to Ekiti State’s Governor, coordinating state-level operations and policy implementation before being elected to the Federal House of Representatives.

As a representative, he chaired the House Committee on Youth Development and advocated for legislation impacting Nigerian youth. In 2023, Adaramodu was elected Senator for Ekiti South, succeeding Abiodun Olujimi.

Since June 13, 2023, in the Senate, he serves as the official Spokesperson and Chairman of the Committee on Youth Development, overseeing constituency projects such as road construction, borehole installations, and free medical outreach.

His efforts have included community hall renovations, palace reconstruction, educational material distribution to secondary schools, agricultural support for farmers, and youth/women empowerment programs.
