Saidu Musa Abdullahi, known as SMA, was born on May 31, 1979.
He serves as a Member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Bida/Katcha/Gbako federal constituency in Niger State since June 2019.
His political roles include deputy chairman of the House Committee on Finance and secretary of the Niger State Caucus of the Ninth National Assembly. He also chairs committees on Public Petitions, Banking & Currency, Insurance & Actuarial Matters, Federal Capital Territory, Agricultural Colleges & Institutions, and Interparliamentary Affairs.
Traditionally conferred with the title Dan-Barije Nupe (later elevated to Gorozon) by Etsu Nupe and the Council of Traditional Rulers of Niger State.
Educated in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU Zaria) with a second-class degree, he holds a masterβs in Development Studies from Bayero University, Kano.
He has over ten years of professional experience in banking and oil/gas sectors, starting at Zenith Bank Plc in 2000 before joining Oando Plc as a Sales Manager across multiple states (Adamawa, Jalingo, Benue, Kano, Jigawa). Currently, he is the COO of Gerawa Global Engineering Limited.
In 2005, he served as spokesman for the Solitaire Economics Class at ABU Zaria in Abuja. His political entry into APC began in 2019, contesting for the Bida/Gbako/Katcha constituency.
He has supported educational initiatives by funding up to 100 students annually from his constituency, including institutions like Ibrahim Babangida University and Federal University of Technology Minna.
Organized UTME registrations for 2020β2022, registering over 2,500 candidates. His public focus includes backing local tertiary education access.
