Biography
Abdullahi Sadiq Ango is a Nigerian politician representing Sabon Gari in the House of Representatives as a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Born in Kaduna State, Nigeria, he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Political Science from a Nigerian university. His family includes Prof. Ango Abdullahi, an elder statesman and academic.
His interest in politics began with his academic background, shaping his dedication to public service. In 2023, he won the House of Representatives election under PDP after defeating Hon. Mohammed Garba Datti from APC.
He was abducted by bandits on March 28, 2022, during a Kaduna-Abuja train journey with 61 others. Though detained, he secured his victory in the PDP primaries while still captive and later received psychological treatment after being released.
