Bio

Prince Adewole Adebayo (born 8 January 1972) is a Nigerian lawyer and founder of KAFTAN TV who ran for president in 2023 on the Social Democratic Party (SDP) platform and has indicated he intends to contest again in 2027. Born in Ondo City, he attended St. Stephen Primary School (1978-1983) and St. Joseph College (1983-1989) in Ondo before studying law at Obafemi Awolowo University from 1991 to 1997.

He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2000 after graduating from the Nigerian Law School in Lagos, later passed the New York Bar exams after further legal studies in the United States, and is described as licensed in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, California, New York, and U.S. federal courts. He began legal practice at Tunji Abayomi and Co in Lagos and founded Adewole Adebayo & Co., House of Law, in 2002, with the firm receiving recognition from the International Financial Law Firm Review.

His firm's work included representing Continental Transfert Technique Limited in litigation connected to Femi Falana's challenge of the CERPAC contract involving the Ministry of Interior and the Nigeria Immigration Service. Beyond legal practice, Adebayo is reported to sponsor nearly 2,000 young Nigerians in local and foreign tertiary institutions, financially empower numerous people across the country, and take part in public affairs commentary and Third Force politics.
