Bio

Titus Uba (born 25 September 1965) is a Nigerian politician from Akehe, Ute, in Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State. He has served as Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly since August 2018, representing Kyan constituency, after emerging through a vote of no confidence and impeachment process that removed former Speaker Terkimbi Ikyange. He was re-elected Speaker for the 9th Benue State House of Assembly in 2019.

Uba began at LGEA Primary School, Akehe, and later transferred to Demonstration Primary School, Makurdi, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1979. He completed secondary education at Saint Michael's Secondary School, Aliade, in 1984 with a General Certificate Examination (GCE), and later earned a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Federal Polytechnic, Idah (1989), followed by a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi (2004).
