Bio

Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang (born 12 March 1965 in Wussasa, Zaria) is a Nigerian lawyer and politician who became Governor of Plateau State in 2023 and was sworn in on 29 May 2023. He is a former Chairman of Mangu Local Government Area. His listed qualifications include GCE, WAEC, LL.B, and BL.

He attended LEA Primary School, Ampang-West, Mangu LGA (1973-1977), then Boys Secondary School, Gindiri, graduating in 1982. He briefly worked at the former Federal Office of Statistics and the defunct Nigerian Bank for Commerce and Industry (NBCI), then studied at the School of Preliminary Studies, Keffi (1983-1984), the University of Jos (1984-1988), and the Nigerian Law School from 1988, after which he was called to the Nigerian Bar as a solicitor and advocate of the Supreme Court on 14 December 1989.
