Mohammed Ashiru Isa (also referenced as Isa Ashiru Kudan) is a Nigerian politician from Kudan, Nigeria, born on 23 October 1962 in Kudan LGA of Kaduna State. He is identified as male, described as a businessman, and holds the traditional title of Sarkin Bai of Zazzau Emirate. He was the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Kaduna State for 2023, with Dr Ayuba John Markus as running mate, and he polled 719196 votes but lost. He was previously a member of the House of Representatives for Kudan/Makarfi Federal Constituency from 2007 to 2015 and earlier represented Kudan Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly. He is married with seven children and lost his father at a very young age.

His education includes LEA Primary School, Kudan (1968-1974), Kufena College Wusasa, Zaria (1975-1980), an ND in Business Administration at Katsina Polytechnic (1982-1985), an HND at Kaduna State Polytechnic (1987-1989), NYSC service in Borno State in 1990 (BO/KD/89/42117), a postgraduate diploma in Marketing Management in 1999, and a master's degree in Public Policy and Administration at Bayero University Kano (2000-2001).

After SSCE, he worked at the Kaduna State Ministry of Finance (1980-1982), Kaduna State Board of Internal Revenue (1985-1992), and Kaduna State Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism (1992-1997). He contested and lost a chairmanship race in 1996 under zero party, another in 1997 under SDP, and a Kaduna State House of Assembly race in 1998 under DPN; he then won election to the Kaduna State House of Assembly in 1999 under PDP and was re-elected in 2003.
