Bio

Zagi Caleb, born on 1 October 1960 in Kaduna State, is a Nigerian politician with FSLC, SSCE, and BSc qualifications, and a master's degree in business administration. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2003 and served until 2007.

In 2007, he was elected Senator for Kaduna South Senatorial District and took office on 29 May 2007 on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform. During the PDP nomination process, he faced pressure to surrender his senatorial ticket to incumbent senator Isaiah Balat and run as deputy governor, but he declined and went on to win.
