Bio

Emmanuel David Ombugadu is a Nigerian politician born on 1978-01-01. He is listed with education at the University of Jos and Rivers State University of Science and Technology, and as an alumnus of LEA Primary School Kakuri in Kaduna State and Government College Keffi, where he obtained SSCE.

He earned a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Jos in 2001, completed NYSC in 2003, and later pursued an M.Sc. at Rivers State University of Science and Technology. He represented Akwanga, Wamba, and Nassarawa Eggon Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives from 2011 to 2019.

Ombugadu served on the privatization and commercialization committee, rules and business committee, and public accounts committee until May 2015. He contested for Governor of Nasarawa State under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019 and 2023, and in 2023 ran with Usman Yahaya Ohinoyi as running mate, polling 283016 votes and losing the election.
