Abubakar Ibrahim A

Abubakar Ibrahim A is a Nigerian politician from the NRM party, born on 19 May 1985 in Potiskum.

He holds qualifications of FSLC and NECO and has Pada Emmanuel Baba as his running mate.

Born on 17 December 1967, Lolo is the son of former military governor Col. Sani Bello. He attended St. Louis Primary School, Kano, and the Nigerian Military School before obtaining a BSc in Economics from the University of Maiduguri (1986–1991).

During his political career, Lolo won the 2015 APC governorship primary and was elected governor with 593,709 votes, declared winner by INEC on 13 April 2015. He was re-elected governor on 9 March 2019.

In August 2020, he endorsed party reconciliation and repositioning efforts. His governance emphasized education, notably rebuilding boarding schools in Niger State.
