Bio

Chichi Ojei is a Nigerian politician born in Delta, South-South Nigeria, in 1978. Her education spans Nigeria and overseas, including the American International School, Lagos; Institut Le Rosay, Rolle, Switzerland; a bachelor's degree in business administration from Northeastern University, USA; and an MBA from Regent's Business School, London.

Before entering politics, she worked as a finance specialist and served as executive director of Nuel Ojei Holdings. Ahead of the 2023 elections, she joined the Allied People's Movement and was endorsed as its presidential candidate on 14 August 2022.

During the campaign, she publicly expressed optimism about winning in what she described as a male-dominated race. Her presidential bid did not continue to election day, as the party later dropped her and adopted PDP candidate Atiku Abubakar.
