Peter Ndubuisi Mbah (born 17 March 1972) is a Nigerian maritime lawyer, financial analyst, and politician who has served as Governor of Enugu State since 2023. Born in Enugu, he is a native of Owo in Nkanu East Local Government Area and comes from the family of Chief Gilbert Ekete Mbah of Ashishi Owo. He is also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle Oil and Gas Ltd, a Fellow of the Certified Institute of Public Administration and Management (CIPM), and a member of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs and the Nigerian Bar Association.
He attended Army Children's School, Bori Camp, Port Harcourt, and Owode High School, Owode Egba, Ogun State. He studied law at the University of East London and earned a Bachelor of Laws in 2000, then proceeded to the Nigerian Law School where he was called to the Bar. He later earned a master's degree in Maritime and Commercial Law from Lagos State University in 2004, an MBA from IESE Business School, University of Navarra, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and he is an alumnus of the Chief Executive Programme of Lagos Business School. In 2021, Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, awarded him an honorary doctorate in Political Science.
In the 2023 Enugu State governorship election, Mbah contested on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) platform with Ossai Ifeanyi Martins as running mate, won the election, and polled 160895 votes.
